Matthias was inspired to create Tranquilidade ('Tranquility' in English) from volunteering to teach art, math and English in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The view overlooks Botafogo Bay and captures the moment of peace and tranquility that occurs before the marvelous city's nightlife awakens each evening.
